Finding Winnie

By Jenni

Finally a book recommendation for the littles. And everyone else who loves children’s books (me waving both hands wildly).

I love children’s books. Love them.

I collect them.

I love beautiful illustrations.

I found this particular book more than a year ago and highly recommended it to friends and family.

But. Since I have a blog now, I need to recommend it to all of you.

And those of you who have read it, should chime in and say great things about it!

[A certain* 14 year old came in and was excited to see this on the table. He read it two times before bed and asked if I had purchased it. So I guess I need to do that ASAP. I would already have it except for this little thing called living in an RV. I will just buy it and store it in the cereal cabinet!]

*unknown teenager, unnamed, off-the-street, roaming my house. In no way identifiable.

But back to the book!

Most important, I think, was the surprise aspect. So, if you like to have a surprise, then you should just reserve this book or purchase it with no further inquiries. That is what I did and was pleasantly surprised. Don’t look any further.

(There is a link at the bottom where you can purchase. Not sure how to keep you from seeing the description there though. Hmmm. Have your spouse order? Use one-click?)

I mean it. There are so few good surprises in life. Trust Jenni.

But if you need all the facts then keep reading all the way to the bottom and you will have them.

A few pictures from the inside to show the illustrations and to keep those who want to be surprised from looking too far….

Ok this picture is totally giving it away…..

So there is the official book jacket description for you. Of course! Winnie the Pooh! But for some reason the dark brown bear did not ring a bell so I discovered it while reading the story, which I heartily recommend.

And as far as famous bears go, what about Smoky the Bear and the bear that eats all the stuff in the picnic baskets? They could be famous too. And have stories written about them.

This is a beautiful story and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
